John HnatIt was Anderson Varejao Wig Night last night at The Q, and appropriately, Andy sealed the Cavs 104-101 win with a last minute dunk on a nice feed from LeBron. This was another one of those games that was closer than it shoulda been, and the Cavs are clearly still trying to find their groove this season. John HnatThe good news is that the Cavs played about 45 minutes of decent basketball last night. The bad news is that NBA games are 48 minutes long. After rallying to tie the game at 89-89 with a little under three minutes remaining, the Cavs decided to call it a night, and the New Orleans/Oklahoma City/Formerly Of Charlotte Hornets pulled away for a 95-89 win. The anti-Branson, John Hnat, breaks it down for us.

John HnatWith the Cavaliers at 12-7, and approaching the quarter pole, Cavs writer John Hnat takes a second for us today to analyze the season so far. There's been some pleasant surprises, mild disappointments, and missed opportunities. And the Cavs are on pace for right around the same win total as last season (50). The man they call "The Answer" has apparently had it with the roster full of question marks the 76ers have surrounded him with. News reports say he has asked the Philadelphia front office to find him a new team. Papa Cass talks about whether or not the Cavs are a potential trading partner for the Sixers, what it would take to get him, and whether or not it's worth it.
