Gary BenzOn the surface, the two stories wouldn't seem to have much in common.  Chicago Cubs owner Sam Zell said last week that he would definitely consider selling the naming rights to Wrigley Field.  At roughly the same time, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was heard saying, again, that he believes NFL owners will vote to opt out of the current labor agreement.  Two different sports, two completely unrelated issues.  Hardly.  Like everything else in sports these days, the two stories share a common parent: money.

Brian McPeekWhat a weekend it was for Clevelanders, as Phil Savage once again wasted absolutely no time in aggressively and proactively improving the Cleveland Browns with a flurry of activity once the free agent signing period opened.  In addition, the new look Cavs got a pair of wins Friday night and Sunday afternoon, and the spring training games started to heat up in Winter Haven.  We're heading into my favorite time of the sports year, and it's all good in CTown.

The Browns sign Jamal Lewis, get closer to defining their future relationship with Derek Anderson and open up negotiations on a new deal with Kellen Winslow Jr. Meanwhile in Florida, the Indians have all present and accounted for in Winter Haven and their biggest decision may be who takes the ball as the fifth starter.
