The Crystal Ball - April 17 Releases

It's finally time! Movies are BACK, baby! Starting this weekend, we now have high profile movies that are either Blockbuster material, or serious adult entertainment (and I mean by being intelligent, not pornographic, so get your minds out of the gutter). Mitch has taken quite the semi-sabbatical from doing movie reviews lately, spending his time on this column, some "best of" lists, and of course, his weekly "24" recaps. But that will now change, as he will be reviewing at least one movie a week for the next 14 weeks.

"24" Recap: 1-2 AM

What an episode!!! And really, this whole season of "24" has been great. The show continues to get a little more far fetched each year, but the entertainment value has been off the charts here in season #7. We had a big twist this week at the end of the episode, one with some shock value. And as he does every Wednesday night, Mitch checks in to recap the episode, and tries to make sense of what we just saw and where the show may be going. We saw Kim Bauer return this week. Could Jack's dad Phillip be next?

The Crystal Ball - April 10 Releases

Happy Easter! Mitch wishes you all well in your holiday weekend activities, and remarks about the upcoming sports watching; The Masters, opening home weekend for the Indians, and the Cavs-Celtics game. At the theater? Still a whole lot of nuthin'. But hang in there, Mitch says; good movies start up again in only a week.

"24" Recap: 12 AM - 1 AM

Epic recap this week from Mitch (aren't they all though?) of Monday night's episode of "24". In it, Mitch talks about the Mexican standoff developing between Jon Voight/Starkwood and the US military. And talks about the soon to be return of Jack's daughter Kim, played by the lovely Elisha Cuthbert. Mitch also talks about Jon Voight's character in the show and the rampant overacting by the aging fringe TV/movie star. Just 7 hours left in season 7!
