It was a record breaking night at The Q. LeBron James became the Cavaliers all-time steal leader. Zydrunas Ilgauskas became the franchise's all-time leading rebounder. And the Cavs did something no NBA team in history has done, winning their ninth straight game by a dozen or more points. We're watching something special here folks. And Brian McPeek is here to tell us about the Cavs latest win, a 114-94 good 'ole country whoopin' of the Toronto Raptors.

Domination is dull. Now we know how opposing fans feel watching their squad roll over the Browns. 

Just another 20-point win last for the Cavs Tuesday night over the Toronto Raptors. The Cavs jumped all over the flailing Raptors and out to another big, early lead. Toronto made it a game in the second quarter but the Cavs came out in the 3^rd quarter and simply blew the Raptors of ‘The Q' in a 114-94 win. 

That's nine straight games with a margin of victory of 12 points or more and that is an NBA record. And aside from winning 9 games in a row the Cavs have also won 17 of their last 18 ballgames to run their overall record to 18-3. 

They're on a heater folks. And they're still perfect at home (12-0) with a 6 ½ game lead over the Pistons in the Eastern Conference's Central Division. 

The King led the way on Tuesday with 31 points and 6 rebounds in just 30 minutes of run. LeBron got support from all over the floor as Wally Szczerbiak kicked in 16 points on 5/10 shooting and Mo Williams and Zydrunas Ilgauskas each scored 13 for the Cavs. Delonte West and Williams combined for 17 assists and just one turnover as the Cavs booked 29 assists on their 43 field goals for the evening. 

As for Toronto, well, when Joey Graham outscores All-Star Chris Bosh by nearly a 2-1 margin (17 points for Graham to 9 for Bosh) you know you're likely to be looking up at the wrong side of ‘The Diff' on the scoreboard if you're the Raptors. 

Takeaways 

• Consider for a moment that LeBron James is just 23 years old and that he's not even lawfully permitted to rent a car in many states. Then consider that he's just 21 games into his 6^th NBA season. That makes the fact that James put his name on another franchise record all the more amazing. With his steal in the opening minute of Tuesday's game James passed Mark Price to become the all-time Cavalier steals leader. That the record theft came this year with this team seems all the more fitting given James's and the Cavs dedication and commitment to the defensive side of the game.

James is already the Cavs all-time leading scorer and is moving up the charts on the assists list as well as up the lists for both free throws attempted and free throws made.  

Truly amazing. 

• Taking nothing away from James and the talent he brings to the floor every night, but another record was set last night at ‘The Q' and long time Cavs fans had to be proud. Zydrunas Ilgauskas, with his 4^th rebound of the night, surpassed Brad Daugherty as the Cavs all-time franchise rebounding leader.

The big Lithuanian has long been the steadying presence in the middle for the Cavs and early on in his career there was no indication that was going to be the case. Ilgauskas was always a presence but the first few years of his tenure in Cleveland were marred by multiple foot injuries that required multiple surgeries and caused him to miss multiple games.

But Z persevered and pushed through pain that would have cased a lot of lesser athletes to shut it down and collect their guaranteed cash. He's played in 70+ games for each of the last 6 years and shows no signs of slowing down yet.  

On a record-setting night in ‘The Q' Ilgauskas's moment was the one many fans will savor the most.  

• Bad news for the NBA. Not only are the Cavs steamrolling teams nearly every night they take the court but they may be getting better. Both Wally Szczerbiak and Daniel Gibson are starting to knock down shots. Deep shots. Szczerbiak was 5/10 on the night for 16 points including 2/5 from deep. Gibson added 6 points on 2/4 shooting. Both of his makes were from beyond the arc.

Are you kidding me? With Mo Williams getting in the paint, James slashing to the basket and Z posting up and requiring attention, Wally and Gibson can expect a ton of open looks each every game. If these two guys continue to shake off the rust and start consistently burying shots there could be even longer nights ahead for their opponents. Add in the fact that Delonte West has shown the ability to hit the triple and LBJ can get gun-barrel hot for stretches of games and you have to really love the fact that teams have to defend the entire court against the Cavs.
