It's still early, but the Indians season is going to hell in a handbasket, and in a hurry. Late last night, relief pitcher Scott Sauerbeck was arrested at 3:45 AM in Sheffield Village hiding in a bush with a 28 year girl who had a blood alcohol reading high enough to kill most farm animals. The two were being followed by police, pulled into a random driveway, and then fled on foot to the supposed safe haven of the aforementioned bush. Pics, details inside. According to NewsNet5, Indians relief pitcher Scott Sauerbeck was arrested last night after fleeing police and being found hiding in a bush with a 28 year old girl by the name of Lily Miller.

Sheffield Village police said they spotted the vehicle the pair were in driving erratically at 3:45 in the morning then began following them.  The vehicle then quickly pulled into a random driveway, and the pair fled on foot, seeking safe haven behind the home in a set of bushes.

Sauerbeck, who is married, and has a wife and two children living in Florida, was arrested and charged with "obstructing official business and wrongful entrustment", because he gave his keys to someone who had too much to drink.  Miller, whose blood alcohol content was .253, was charged with obstructing official business as well as driving under the influence.

The Indians predictably had no comment.  And they still haven't returned my emails asking why Brandon Phillips was too bad of a seed to stay in town, yet Jason Michaels punching a cop this off-season was A-OK.
