UFC 70 is live from Manchester, England tonight ... and the UFC is showing the event for free on Spike TV. Personally, I think it's a great move for the UFC to draw in the fringe fans of this quickly growing sport. Not hurting matters is the fact that one of the world's top heavyweights headlines a loaded card. The Spoon Man previews UFC 70. April has been a busy month for the UFC. We already had UFC 69 and Ultimate Fight Night earlier this month.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship will look to end on a high note for the month with a pretty solid card once again. The fights will taking place in Manchester, England and will be televised on Spike TV rather than pay-per-view. That is good news for fight fans.

Putting the fights on regular cable is a great way to draw in new fans. Another great way to bring in outsiders is to have arguably the best heavyweight in the world on the card.

Mirko Cro Cop will fight for the second time in the UFC and he is someone you don't want to miss. He will be taking on Gabriel Gonzaga in the main event.

Cro Cop is the most dominant striker in the world. He has knockout power in both hands and also both feet. His takedown defense is top notch. Gonzaga is more of a submission fighter. He will need to somehow get the fight to the ground to have any shot at pulling off a huge upset. I don't think I can see this happening.

The winner of the main event will become the number one contender in the Heavyweight division. I see Mirko Cro Cop dominating and it will set up a monumental match up  with current champ and UFC legend Randy Couture.

The former Heavyweight champion Andre Arlovski will look to continue his winning ways when he takes on Mirko Cro Cop's training partner Fabricio Werdum. This has the potential to be the fight of the night. Both guys love to trade punches and have great hands. Werdum clearly has the advantage on the ground, and could take advantage of Arlovski by taking him down. In this match I look for bombs to be thrown and Arlovski's will to get back into title contention proving too much for Werdum.

The Ultimate Fighter Season Three winner Michael "The Count" Bisping will get a chance to fight in front of his home crowd. The England native will square off with UFC vet Elvis "The King of Rock and Rumble" Sinosic. Bisping brings in an undefeated record into the match and should keep his perfect mark in tact. His standup and is awesome and it will be too much for Elvis. Sinosic is a pretty good all around fighter, I just don't see Bisping letting him home country down.

Full fight card:

Mirko Cro Cop vs. Gabriel Gonzaga

Michael Bisping vs. Elvis Sinosic

Lyoto Machida vs. David Heath

Andrei Arlovski vs. Fabricio Werdum

Assuerio Silva vs. Cheick Kongo

Matt Grice vs. Terry Etim

Junior Assuncao vs. David Lee

Victor Valimaki vs. Alessio Sakara

Dennis Siver vs. Jess Liaudin

Edilberto Souza De Oliveira vs. Paul Taylor

Overall, the fight card is fantastic. The show being on cable as compared to pay per view is just another way for the UFC to grow thier product. I am looking forward to another great night brought to us fight fans by the UFC.
