Tonight starts another great stretch of events in the UFC. The next two Saturdays have two superb fight cards lined up with UFC 72 and also the Ultimate Fighter show's season finale. Live from the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena this evening in Hollywood, Florida, we get a nice tune up on UFC Fight Night. And the action gets started with a highly anticipated rematch in the Lightweight division. My violence obsessed cousin is Johnny on the spot for us with the preview. Tonight starts another great stretch of events in the UFC. The next two Saturdays have two superb fight cards lined up with UFC 72 and also the Ultimate Fighter show's season finale.

Live from the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena this evening in Hollywood, Florida, we get a nice tune up with "UFC Fight Night". And the action gets started with a highly anticipated rematch in the Lightweight division.

In March of 2006, Sam Stout won a majority decision over Spencer Fisher is what was one of the most entertaining fights of the year. Both fighters are coming off of losses and hope to put on another crowd pleasing performance.

The winner of this match will be back in the mix for the title. The loser however just might find themselves out of the UFC. It is a must win for both guys.

Sam Stout's last fight was a quick one as he was submitted by Kenny Florian in under two minutes. He brings in a 12-2-1 overall MMA record.

Stout has great hands and excellent speed. He will look to keep the match standing but is no slouch when it comes to the ground game. This young fighters gets better and better and has a bright future in the sport.

Spencer Fisher is 4-2 in the UFC and is coming off a TKO loss to Hermes Franca. If Fisher would have won that match, he would be fighting Sean Sherk for the Lightweight belt instead of Franca.

Fisher also loves to stand and bang with his opponent and is a very entertaining guy to watch. This battle tonight is going to be just that. I look for somebody to get knocked out, not just in the fight, but also in the division and quest for the belt.

Another fight I can't wait to see is the Jon Fitch vs. Roan Carneiro. Fitch is 5-0 in the UFC and all around solid as it gets. He is another fighter looking to get into title contention with another impressive victory.

His opponent has won his one and only fight in the UFC but is well respected in the fight game. He can sure make a name for himself tonight with a win over Fitch.

Full fight card:

Sam Stout vs Spencer Fisher

Roan Carneiro vs Jon Fitch
Jordan Radev vs Drew McFedries
Jason Black vs Thiago Tavares
Forrest Petz vs Luigi Fioravanti
Tamdan McCrory vs Pete Spratt
Jeff Cox vs Gleison Tibau
Anthony Johnson vs Chad Reiner
Luke Caudillo vs Nate Mohr

The UFC and mixed martial arts to me is the most entertaining sport in the world and is growing in popularity extremely fast. In the next two weeks, starting tonight, we are going to get a heavy dose of action. If you've yet to jump on board, the time is now.
