 All hail the King.

Saturday night from the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas Floyd Mayweather showed the world why is the undisputed pound for pound top fighter in the sport.

In a fight dubbed “Sworn Enemies”, it lived up to that hype, but only because of the fighters trainers.

Zab Judah came out of the gate very strong and looked as if he was going to give Floyd the fight of his life. On my card he won three of the first four rounds pretty easily. But it was all downhill from there for Zab, as from round five on, Mayweather showed everyone why he is the top of the food chain.

With his lightning quick hands, and the best defense in the fight game, Mayweather started to smother Judah and attack his body. He picked him apart at will. Pretty Boy just started to land whatever he wanted and at times seemed to be toying with his one time friend.

To Judah’s credit, he hung in there, while taking a pretty good beating … until there were 5 seconds left in the 10th round. Mayweather was punishing Zab and looking to end it when Judah fired a clearly intentional low blow and followed it up with a punch behind the head. Mayweather winced in pain. And the ugliness began.

Roger Mayweather (Floyd’s uncle and trainer) jumped into the ring as Floyd was bent over in pain. Referee Richard Steel estopped him from going after Judah. However, he didn’t stop him from saying a few kind words to Judah, for about he fourth time in his career, embarrass himself in the ring.

As Mayweather was pushed aside by Steele, Judah’s father Yoel charged in after Floyd’s trainer, and hell broke loose. Flashbacks from the Golota/Bowe fight popped into my head. There was about twenty people in the ring, including the two guys that were supposed to be the only ones fighting. The scene that sticks in my head is Judah once again swinging at the back of the head of one of Floyd’s corner men. This guy should be kicked out of boxing. He is a disgrace to the sweet science.

Order was finally restored and Roger Mayweather was sent back to the locker room. His nephew didn’t need him as he finished off Zab and won a clearly unanimous decision. From round five on, it was complete and utter domination. I can only hope that it ends Zab Judah’s run for anything. He asked for a rematch after the fight and he doesn’t deserve one for any reason.

Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather once again lived up to his nickname and proved he is hands down the best fighter in the world today. Huge paychecks are on the horizon for him and he deserves to be cashing them in. He is fun to watch and I enjoyed witnessing the beating he gave that clown Judah.
