Anytime you have Georges St. Pierre fighting, I'll be tuning in. He is a crowd pleasing superstar who just happens to be the welterweight in the world today. He will be taking on number one contender Jon Fitch.

Jon Fitch is tied for the most consecutive wins in UFC history with eight. If he wants to break that record he will have to be more prepared then he has ever been. Fitch had defeated some good fighters, but nobody near the caliber of GSP. His wrestling is great but in order to beat St. Pierre you'll need to be well versed in every aspect of the game.

Georges "Rush" St. Pierre is the most complete fighter in the game today in my eyes. His chin has been questioned in the past and might be the only so called flaw he has. He has defeated a who's who in his UFC career. His experience in big fights will also be an advantage over Fitch.

Jon Fitch is a very solid fighter and if he can take GSP down and work his ground and pound he might be able to pull off the upset. The problem with that is that GSP has dominated wrestlers in the past, with his wrestling skills. I think that the all around game of St. Pierre will be just too much for Fitch to handle. Too much skill and too many tools. The longer Fitch can make this fight last, the better chance he'll have.

Fitch is hungry to prove he deserves the title shot. GSP is even more hungry to finally have a successful title defense. I expect for Jon Fitch's consecutive win streak to come to a halt this evening.

There is a matchup tonight that has the making of the fight of the year. Two fighters I really enjoy watching will be going toe to toe in what should be a phenomenal battle.

Kenny Florian and Roger Huerta are going to give the fans their money's worth. Two top fighters in the lightweight division that are looking for a title shot and are fan favorites. It's going to be awesome.

Roger Huerta is taking a huge step up in class when he takes on Florian. Currently at 6-0 in the UFC, he has never been in the octagon with anyone as well rounded as "Ken Flo". The only edge Huerta might have in this fight is his wrestling. He will need to get the fight to the ground in order to win.

Kenny Florian is one of the fighters I can watch all day long. He is a student of the game and comes prepared every single time. To prove he is one of the best in the world he needs to beat up and comers like Huerta. I really don't see a lot of holes in Kenny's game. He continues to improve every time out.

I like Florian to come out on top in this one which should be an excellent  performance by both guys. It's going to be a beautiful display of all aspects of the mixed martial arts game.

Brock Lesnar takes on Heath Herring in a battle of heavyweights. A lot of people are wondering if Lesnar belongs in the UFC or if he's just a freak show from the WWE.

Tonight, I think Brock Lesnar will show that he belongs. Heath Herring is one of the better fighters in the heavyweight division. Lesnar will come out and go for the take down, work his ground and pound and get the win. He is so explosive and agile for a guy his size. Lesnar weighed in at 265 ripped up pounds. If he is able to improve his submissions and grow as a fighter, look out.

Full fight card:

Champ Georges St. Pierre vs. Jon Fitch (for welterweight title)

Brock Lesnar vs. Heath Herring

Kenny Florian vs. Roger Huerta

Rob Emerson vs. Manny Gamburyan

Jason MacDonald vs. Demian Maia

Luke Cummo vs. Tamdan McCrory

Dan Evensen vs. Cheick Kongo

Jon Jones vs. Andre Gusmao

Steve Bruno vs. Chris Wilson

Ben Saunders vs. Ryan Thomas

Three must see fights on are tonight's card. One of the most skilled fighters the sport has ever seen. A lightweight fight that fans will probably be talking about for months. Possibly the next big thing in the heavyweight division.

All of that makes for a great evening from the UFC. Don't miss it, I know won't.
