Fresh off his move from Columbus, OH to Charleston, SC ... where he will train how to commandeer a nuclear sub for the U.S. Navy ... Furls checks in with his latest. And in it, he debunks the recruting class rankings that we've been seeing all over the web for the last month. Furls has seen too many 5* guys like Justin Zwick and Mike D'Andrea bust and too many 2* and 3* guys like A.J. Hawk and Troy Smith excel to puch much creedence in these rankings. The Buckeyes beat Michigan a couple nights ago, and no one even seemed to notice. In his latest, Gary Benz makes a good point. As great as the NCAA basketball tournament is, it really makes the regular season and matchups like that one meaningless and without drama. Gary also notes that for as much heat as Division I college football catches for its BCS bowl system, in it, they have a process that makes every last regular season contest compelling.
