There is little movement at the top of the heap in the Furls 15 this week after what was a rather subdued Saturday in the world of college football. In this weekly column, Furls ranks his top fifteen teams in the country, with brief writeups on each. And yes, Michigan still sucks. 1.  Ohio State (No Movement):  This team is so much better than everyone else that it is actually decreasing interest in NCAA football.  There really is no drama to speak of until the Nov. 18 mathch up with...

2.  Michigan (No Movement):  Well, I was much higher on Michigan until I saw them play the last two weeks.  They have looked flat against both PSU and Iowa, but they are still better than just about everyone else.

3.  Texas (No Movement):  In spite of their best efforts, Texas was unable to throw the game in Lincoln.  Nebraska wanted to win less and proved it by coughing up the ball with the game in hand.

4.  California (No Movement):  Cal won a close one at Washington this year, but they seem to be playing everyone tough.  I think that Washington is a sleeper and sometimes good teams have close calls.  DeSean Jackson and Nate Longshore get no press, but the two are a lethal tandem.

5.  Auburn (No Movement):  The Tigers pounded Tulane like Hurrican Katrina.  Was that inappropriate?

6.  Florida (No Movement):  They didn't play.  Unfortunately they were unable to rise in the rankings while, "eating cheeseburgers" as Charlie "Fat Bastard" Weis put it.

7.  Tennessee (No Movement):  In spite of a close game with unranked Alabama, Tennessee is not moving.  They played reasonably well in a rivalry game.   

8.  Clemson (No Movement):  WOW, did they put a hurting on Georgia Tech.  Clemson single handedly ended any chance Calvin Johnson had at a Heisman, hell, they may have ended his Belitnikoff campaign.  Maybe now people will believe me that this Clemson team is for real, and so is the only team that has beaten them to date, ....

9.  Boston College (No Movement):  BC struggled put beat a downtrodden FSU team.  That is the make up of this team, they are tough, gritty, and will win the close games.  It is just a matter of time until coach Tom O'Brien is rehabilitating some run down program somewhere.

10.  USC (Up 2):  I know they didn't play but they still get to jump Notre Dame.  I think it is fitting that they are ranked above them because they will beat Notre Dame in a couple of weeks, and this saves  me the trouble of swapping them then and feeling stupid.

11.  Notre Dame (Down 1):  Yep Charlie, you can win and still drop in the polls.  Especially when you play a mediocre team at home and look as bad as Notre Dame did.  Heck, they have not beat a good team convincingly this year, therefore, I remain unconvinced.

12.  Nebraska (Up 1):  This is one of those rare cases where a team loses, and moves up.  Nebraska looked very solid in a loss to the Longhorns, and I think that Big 12 Championship Game rematch will be very good also.

13.  Wisconsin (Up 1):  Wisconsin appears to be a very good team, but they still remain unproven.  I would not be surprised to see them finish in the top 10, but I need to see some type of meaningful victory or quality play against a good opponent before I get too crazy with them.

14.  Rutgers (Up 1):  This Rutgers team appears to be the class of the Big East, that does not say much, but hell, it is better than being in the bottom of the Big East.  In all seriousness, Ray Rice is very good and so is that defense.  Solid running game and good defense is a pretty solid formula for success.  All they need to do is continue to avoid mistakes and play solid special teams.

15.  Arkansas (New to poll):  This team is good, real good.  I am now sold on the transformation of this team following their absolute pounding at the hands of USC.  Mitch Mustain is playing like a man on fire.  He is the real deal, and the SEC better look out for Arkansas for the next 2 years.  Some solid tests remain for the Hogs, but I am confident that they are going to ruin some seasons.  I am not sure if they will make a legitimate run this year, but they are going to hand out a couple of crushing loses.
