You'd think things would normalize prediction-wise, but this is why Vegas is rich and I am not.  Still, I suppose I must feel slightly satisfied with a .500 record thus far (16-16), as my much more decorated counterparts are 15-17 (BT) and 14-18 (DJC).

BT, however, is now a solid 2-0 on his "Executive Lock of the Week".  Will it continue?  Well, he took the Saints over KC this week.  Is there any way that stellar talents like Romeo Crennel, Brian Daboll, and Peyton Hillis can be held down yet again?

Yeah, probably.

Me - I am loathe to admit that the Rams are probably a lot better than I assumed coming into the season.  They could've beaten the Lions at home (albeit a suspect team).  They beat the Redskins at home (albeit a suspect team).  But can they take the Bears in Chicago (although, after watching their O line against the Packers... suspect team)?  No.  But they can cover.  Pick: Rams

Me - Well, the Bucs have shown they can score.  The Cowboys are what they always are - talented enigmas that will lose just as much as they win.  7.5 is a lot to cover, but I'll take the Pokes in their home opener.  Pick: Cowboys

Me - I have no idea how the Vikes cover this spread, even at home.  Pick: 49ers

Me - I gotta say that I don't really like either of these teams.  Tennessee is dead in the water at 0-2 and starting Jake Locker, a guy with like a 10% chance of being a good NFL QB.  Detroit is a paper kitty that is just ripe for a nice 7-9/6-10 type fall.  But they're still good enough to pull this one out.  Pick: Lions

Me - All right, the Overrated Bowl is this week, and it's in Washington.  If you're a Browns fan, you know how much the Bengals' D sucks.  But if you're a football fan, you know how hype-driven the Racial Slurs are.  I'm flippin' a coin and say that Cincitucky makes just enough plays to pull it out.  Pick: Bengals

Me - Man, the NFL parity is leading to tons of "blech" matchups.  Jets... Fins... who cares?  Neither team has a chance at the playoffs, and even if they somehow miraculously got there, they would choke like a snake swallowing a reclining chair.  Guessing that the Jets D is better than the Miami version.  Pick: Jets

Me - Struggling with this one, since I'm predicting that the Browns lose by 3.  So I have to ask myself which team I think is more likely to rise up and smash the other.  And that team, I'm shocked to say, wears orange.  Pick: Browns

Me - Here's what this game comes down to:  Blaine Gabbert sucks, Andrew Luck doesn't.  Pick: Colts
