Making my first Bet The Deed Guarantee of the year, I predict that there is no way the Bengals will lose their 4th game in a row this week.  You'll find 1:1 odds on this at all the major gaming centers, place your bets while you still can.

DJC and I went 7.5-5.5 last week while BT went 6.5-6.5.

And BT missed his Executive Lock for the 3rd week in a row to go under .500 for the year.  How the mighty have fallen.

OSU at PSU Pick

Me - A Pick 'em?  Not sure if that's a compliment to Penn State or a slap in the face of OSU.  Pick: Buckeyes

DJC - Not sure Miller is right...   Pick: Lions

BT - O- H- I- O.  Pick: Buckeyes

SD at CLE +2.5

Me - This can go one of two ways: Either the Browns are angry that they blew a golden opportunity last week in Indy and take it out on the Chargers, or they shrivel back to the shrinking violet they've been for the last forever and take it without lube at home.  I picked San Diego in my last article, but with the weather looking miserable... if Cleveland blows this I'll pick against them the rest of the season.  Pick: Browns

BT - Cleveland finds ways to lose week in and week out. Take the points though.  Pick: Browns

NE at STL +7

Me - In London, so neutral field (not AT St. Louis).  I think the Pats can cover on a neutral field, but I also thought they would cover against the other NFC West opponents they played (Arizona and Seattle) and they lost both of those outright.  Pick: Rams

DJC - Pick: Patriots

BT - NE will turn it up right?  Pick: Patriots

IND at TEN -3.5

Me - Under Matt Hasselbeck, the Titans O has come to life, making them a shocking wild card contender.  Actually, so are the Colts, but I don't see how a team that under-talented doesn't come back to earth.  Pick: Titans

DJC - Fleener!!  Pick: Colts

BT - Indy isn’t that good. Neither are the Titans. Take the home team.  Pick: Titans

JAX at GB -13

Me - Chad Henne/Blaine Gabbert (it doesn't matter) and Rashad Jennings at the Frozen Tundra?  I might take GB at -20.  Pick: Packers

DJC - Jacksonville is really, really bad.  Pick: Packers

BT - Clay Matthews III will have 5 sacks.  Pick: Packers

ATL at PHI -2.5

Me - Atlanta has been ripe for the plucking for weeks now, barely beating crap teams like Oakland and Carolina.  Philly's desperate, and they're playing at home in what might be dicey conditions.  Dome team goes down.  Pick: Eagles

DJC - Pick: Falcons

BT - Reid has dropped the hammer.   Pick: Eagles

SEA at DET -2.5

Me - Matthew Stafford is just playing like feces this year, to the point where I've now benched him for Josh Freeman, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and now Brandon Weeden.  Seattle's D should put a hurtin' on the Lions' O Line and maybe get that shutout that Chicago was so close to pinning on Detroit.  Pick: Seahawks

DJC - Pick: Seahawks

BT - Even though Detroit is imploding I’ll take the Lions. Executive Lock of the Week.  Pick: Lions

MIA at NYJ -2.5

Me - Both of these teams are enigmas.  Just when you're convinced they're awful, they go and win a game, looking imminently capable while doing so.  I think Miami's probably a little better, but not confident about this pick at all.  Pick: Dolphins

DJC- Pick: Jets

CAR at CHI -7.5

Me - Chicago's Defense is for real for real.  Pick: Bears

DJC - Urlacher still has it.  Pick: Bears

BT - Bears are good. And that D – oh my.  Pick: Bears

WAS at PIT -4.5

Me - Well, I want to say the RG3 will confound the Steelers and the Skins will pull out an upset, but Pittsburgh has a way of not loosing to teams they're supposed to beat (unless you count the Raiders or Titans).  I think PIT wins, but doesn't cover.  Pick: Redskins

DJC - Pick: Steelers

BT - Pick: Steelers

OAK at KC -2

Me - Brady Quinn is starting again.  That should be enough for Oakland to pick up the win.  Pick: Raiders

DJC - Pick: Chiefs

BT - What an awful game. Will anyone watch?  Pick: Raiders

NYG at DAL +1.5

Me - Another toss-up type game.  New York's on a bit of a roll now, and have never lost in the new Dallas stadium.  That's enough for me.  Pick: Giants

DJC - Pick: Giants

BT - Pick: Cowpokes

NO at DEN -6

Me - The Saints' O has finally come to life, but their Defense is atrocious.  At Denver, outside, with Peyton Manning hitting his groove... Pick: Broncos

DJC - Pick: Saints

BT - A lot of points, but I’ll take the Broncos and the altitude.  Pick: Broncos

SF at ARI +6.5

Me - Arizona will lose since they have no Offense (imagine if the Browns traded Weeden to them), but their Defense is good enough that they might keep it under a TD.  Still hard to believe in Alex Smith.  Pick: Cardinals
