The NFL just released the 2008 NFL team by team schedules, and the Browns have about as appealing and exciting a schedule as any fan of the team could have possibly hoped for. The Browns will play on Monday night football three times, and in total, have five night games. And oh yeah, they open the season at home against the Cowboys at 4:15 PM in a game that will be nationally televised and close it in Pittsburgh. I provide some instant analysis on the release of the Browns 2008 schedule in my latest.
The NFL just released the 2008 NFL team by team schedules, and the Browns have about as appealing and exciting a schedule as any fan of the team could have possibly hoped for.
The Browns will play on Monday night football three times. At home in week six against the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants. On the road in Buffalo in week 11. And in Philly against the Eagles in week 15. The Browns also host the Steelers on Sunday night in week two, and will host the Broncos in a Thursday night affair in week 10.
In total, the Browns have five night games. And they open the season at home against the Cowboys at 4:15 PM in a game that will be nationally televised. They then close the season in Pittsburgh against the Steelers.
Coming off the heels of a 10-6 season that left them just short of the playoffs, anticipation was already sky high for the 2008 season. The Browns return their entire offense from a year ago. An offense that averaged over 25 points per game and sent several players to the Pro Bowl. This schedule sure as hell isn't going to hurt the fan fervor for the team as the '08 season approaches.
