Preview: UFC 79

A great year for the sport of mixed martial arts concludes tonight with one of its best cards of the year at UFC 79. The pay per view spectacle features co-main events, as Matt Hughes and Georges St. Pierre square off for the third time, this time for the welterweight championship. In the other feature match, UFC legend Chuck Liddell tries to rebound from back to back losses in a fight against Pride fighting legend Wanderlei Silva. Mayweather Dominant In Knockout Of Hatton

Forget the current pound for pound king crown. That's been his for a while. It's time to start talking about Floyd Mayweather as one of the greatest fighters of all time. Last night Floyd took apart scrappy (and previously 43-0) Ricky Hatton before a raucous pro-Hatton throng at the MGM Grand in Vegas. The Spoon Man recaps the fight and also hits on last night's UFC card at the finale of "Ultimate Fighter".

Preview: Mayweather - Hatton

I can't remember the last time I've been this happy to pay $50 for a fight. Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Ricky Hatton for the undisputed welterweight championship of the world. Both fighters undefeated. Two of the top pound for pound fighters in the sport. And their backgrounds and personalities are about as different as you can find. The Spoon Man previews tonights big fight, and also hits on tonight's finale of the UFC's sixth season of Ultimate Fighter.

The Fight Doctor Interviews Kenny Florian

Kenny Florian is a veteran of The Ultimate Fighting Championship. He was a cast member of season one of the hit reality show, The Ultimate Fighter. Kenny currently has a 6-2 record in the octagon with an overall mixed martial arts record of 9-3. The current title contender in the 155 pound division recently took some time away from training to speak with our very own Scott Swerbinsky.
