The finale of the UFC's Ultimate Fighter 5 season was last night, and the card was loaded with great fights. The highlight? The return of the BJ Penn of old, who looked dominant in destroying Jens Pulver in a matchup of stalwarts at the 155 lb weight class. Spike TV and the UFC teamed up a few years ago and started a reality show to promote the sport of mixed martial arts. Little did they know that the show was going to be a launching pad for both the sport and a lot of the fighters that participated. The finale of the fifth season is tonight, has a great main event, and my cousin Scott (who just had a beautiful baby daughter!) is all over it for us.

While the heavyweight division is still mush, the sport of boxing is coming off of two of the greatest fights in recent history ... as the Pavlik/Miranda and Cotto/Judah fights were both instant classics. Tonight, we have another super fight as the undefeated Brit Ricky Hatton takes on the very dangerous Jose Luis Castillo. My cousin says this has the makings of another classic, and previews the scrap for us in his latest column.
