UFC  130 takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas this evening. Tonight was supposed to be the night Gray Maynard got another shot at the lightweight title against champion Frankie Edgar. Unfortunately, both fighters have been injured and the title fight was scrapped. That matchup will still happen, we just don’t know when yet.

UFC 129 has come and gone but boy was it fun. Fifty five thousand mixed martial fans were on hand to witness a very entertaining fight card in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The live crowd and the folks who turned into the telecasts weren’t let down. We got to see some very exciting things from flying triangle chokes to highlight spinning back fist knockouts. Sprinkle in a Daniel LaRusso like crane kick and you have yourself a quality card.

Fans of the Ultimate Fighting Championship are in for a treat this evening. UFC 129 takes place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and will be the organization’s biggest event. Literally. Fifty five thousand tickets were sold and it’s going to be electric inside of the Rogers Centre.

For the fans at home, you will also be able to see every single fight on the card. Facebook is showing five fights starting at 6pm. After that, you’ll need to tune into SpikeTV for two more prelim fights. The Pay Per View will have a new start time of 9pm and there you will be able to enjoy the main card.

UF C 128 has come and gone and what a night it was. The fight card was pretty good and the action was intense. A new champion was crowned and that was easily the highlight of the night.

In the preview of the light heavyweight title fight, I thought Shogun Rua should have been the favorite Over Jon Jones and I also thought he had an edge almost everywhere. I was wrong and knew that even before the fight started. Yours truly knew that Shogun was in trouble when they had their stare down right before the bell sounded.

Live from Newark, New Jersey, The Ultimate Fighting Championship will put on its latest pay per view card. It takes a lot for me to criticize some the fight cards and I have a hard time doing so but the last few events have been average at best and that’s being very friendly.

UFC 128 has a few of my personal favorite fighters and that has me ready for some octagon action this evening. Let’s take a look at a few of the fights that will take place live from the Prudential Center.
