You just knew Hiko's trip to the Howl At The Moon Saloon would provide some great fodder for "Moot Points", and he hasn't let his minions down. Hiko also uses the Yankees "Evil Empire" moniker, and applies it along broader lines, talks about some recent movie purchases, hits on the Buckeyes ascending to #1 in the country, and has some words of advice for a troubled youth.

These peoples worlds are about to forever be changed, as The Cleveland Fan has come to terms on a 10 year, 135 million dollar deal with nationally renowned local handicapper Mike "Lead" Piper and his "Lead Pipe Locks". When you can add a guy with the qualifications of The Lead Man you get results, and positive results and piles of cash are what Lead brings to the table.

Every time I run into someone in a downtown bar that knows about the site, one of the first things I almost always hear is that "Moot Points" is their favorite column and that they "love that Hiko dude".  This week's column is further evidence of why that praise is deserving as Hiko weighs in on the LeBron James Yankee Hat soap opera.  And talks about the depths he will sink to in the name of love.  It's Moot.

Brian McPeekWhat a weekend.  Kelly Pavlik, in an absolutely incredible fight, comes back from the dead to knock out Jermain Taylor to become the world's undisputed middleweight champion.  The Browns ball bat the despicable Ravens and their toad of a head coach.  The Buckeyes rout their fifth straight opponent, and wil be #4 in the rankings this morning.  And the Indians finish the season and get set for the Yankees.  I love this time of year.
