Yes players, unlike that disgraced pretty-boy Oscar De La Hoya, the Lead Man has proven he can handle some adversity instead of simply throwing in the towel when things get tough. Get the Lead Man on the ropes, and you can expect him to rebound ferociously. When some rabbit punches early in the season dealt LP a few blows the Lead man showed a chin of granite.
When it appeared to many that the house had seized all the momentum, Lead Man did not panic. Instead he took the challenge, stepped up his game, and put together a patented Lead Man rally. A rally so furious it has left the house battered and bruised and down for the ten count, with the only hope for salvation being the bell signaling the end of the season.
Let this be a lesson to you players that the house may be able to stand toe to toe with LP in the early rounds (maybe), but in the end the wit, wisdom, intestinal fortitude and most importantly, the overwhelming skill of the Lead Man will take over. The Lead Man will leave his bookie broke and all those that shadow the Lead Man will stand in the center of the ring with their dukes raised high in the air and the winner's share of the purse in their hands.
With last week's 4-1 beat-down that Lead Man laid on the Man, he ran his winning streak up to 7 straight weeks without a loss. Yes players, since the weekend of October 16 the Lead Man has shown his dominance over the number. Seasons and Presidents have changed, but the Lead Man just keeps right on a rollin'. As he continues to rally through the Christmas season it is clear that Lead Man is hotter than chestnuts roasting on an open fire.,
He appears primed to zip right past Christmas and into the new year, finally arriving at the holiday which epitomizes him the most-groundhog day. With the Lead Man, as you are all aware, it's pretty much the same thing over and over...and over again. Wager - collect.
This holiday season in particular, with the country in a state of depression, cash is king. Lead Man gets you the cash. End of story.
Players, LP has a final reminder for you. The college campaign is done save for bowl season. Don't blow your earnings wagering the half time total of the Blue/Gray game. Much of our work is done. At the Leadquarters, the Lead Man is going to buy some gifts (with cash of course) and spend time with family and friends, soaking in the true meaning of the holiday season. You players would be wise to do the same, along with keeping an eye out for LP's occasional NFL selections.
Happy Holidays players. Here's a little something to stuff in your stocking;
The Colts line is oscillating between 16.5 and 17. Leadquarters got the 16.5, but 17 is still good. The Colts are going to put a lambasting on the hapless Lions and will have this number covered by half. That cat who ran out of the back of the end zone is replacing Daunte Culpepper this week. End of story.
Colts -16.5
And, there is no way a beaten up Cowboys team should be favored over the G-men. Throw that money line under the tree.
Giants over Dallas.
Players, ‘The Pipeline' airs tonight at 10:30. The Lead Man will have an additional NFL selection and will discuss a variety of topics with host Brian McPeek. Sport and gambling dominate but who knows what else might come up. Tune in, and good luck.
