Erik CassanoBefore the start of this season, Bill Livingston made a bold prediction: that the Cavaliers would win the NBA title. And with the Cavs now having dropped eight of ten, and looking very ordinary at 25-19, he has resorted to throwing the team under the bus 3-4 times a week. This has not gone unnoticed by Erik Cassano, who calls Livingston out as being hypocritical for practicing the same type of doomsday journalism he decried his fellow writers of after the Buckeyes loss to the Gators in Glendale.

John HnatThe Cavs fell 115-100 to the Suns yesterday, in a game nationally televised by ABC. The Cavs hung with Phoenix for three quarters before being blown away to start the fourth, allowing the Suns to walk across the finish line for their 17th straight win. The Cavs perimter defense was atrocious in this one, and John Hnat, who was there at courtside to take it in for us, checks in with all the gory details this morning. This IS the best Cavs column in existence, in print or on the web.

John HnatNo LeBron James, no problem for the Cavs last night as they stormed back from a 17 point halftime deficit to defeat the Sixers in Philly by a count of 105-97. Coach Mike Brown went with a small lineup for the stretch run, taking Eric Snow and Big Z off the floor in favor of Daniel Gibson and David Wesley. The result was a much needed, hard fought win. John Hnat stops by this Saturday morning with the recap.

John HnatThe Cavs have hit a new low on the season, falling last night at home in double overtime to the Philadelphia 76ers, they of the 12-30 record, sans Allen Iverson and Chris Webber, and on the second night of a back to back. The Cavs have now lost five of their last six (including back to back home games) and have slipped to 24-18 on the season. John Hnat checks in to relive the horror from last night.
