Cassano endorses the selection of Shannon Brown, and like me, feels he may turn out to be an absolute steal at #25. He makes the case that Brown gives this Cavs team alot of what they lack, and his athleticism is welcomed after years of picks like Langdon, Diop, and Mihm.

Rich SwerbinskyI'm still euphoric over what I felt was an incredible draft by Danny Ferry, Mike Brown, and the Cavaliers front office last night. In my latest, I hit again on Shannon Brown and Daniel Gibson, and make the case that last nights draft was phenomenal television. With just five minutes between picks, recognizable names, Knick Fan melting down all over the place, and a little stand up comedy from David Stern ... I found the draft to be an all around enjoyable viewing experience.

Rich SwerbinskyThe Cavs were able to pluck another pretty intriguing guy off the board at #42, selecting talented Texas guard Daniel Gibson with their first pick in the second round. The team followed that up by drafting Nigerian power forward Ejike Ugboaja with their final selection, #55 overall.
