The North American Allied Fight Series once again brings a loaded card to The Masonic Auditorium.  UFC vet Jason "Dynamite" Dent headlines the card, and a win over challenger Torrance "The Tyrant" Taylor could put Jason back on some big national cards.  You know my violence-obsessed cousin will be cageside for this one and he previews the event for us tonight here at The Cleveland Fan.

Scott SwerbinskyThe US Bank Arena in Cincinnati was filled and rocking last night for UFC 77 and everyone was there to see hometown hero and UFC favorite Rich Franklin, who was looking to get his belt back from the man who destroyed him last time they met, Anderson Silva. The crowd went home very disappointed as the rematch wasn't much different, but it was yet another solid card for the MMA faithful.  My cousin Scott was cageside, and recaps the event.

Scott SwerbinskyForrest Petz is a Cleveland based fighter who trains with Team Strong Style. Known as "The Meat Cleaver" he has fought in many organizations, and has had success in all of them. He currently has a 19-4 record in mixed martial arts competition. Two of those victories have come in the UFC where is fought four times.  This local product hits the national stage this Saturday at UFC 77.  And my cousin Scott had a chance to sit down and talk with him ...

Scott SwerbinskyWhat a fight!!!! What a fight! Kelly Pavlik was absolutely dead to rights in the second round, rocked by a ferocious combo from Jermain Taylor, knocked down and then needing to hang on to the former champ just to stay on his feet. Kelly slowly and improbably got back into the fight, and then turned the tables on Taylor in a very memorable seventh round. I'm still euphoric. My cuz recaps the fight of the year.
