Talk about a great stretch for fight fans.  Starting tonight, for the NEXT SEVEN Saturdays, there is an excellent boxing match on HBO, Showtime, or Pay Per View.  Marquez/Vasquez III, Pavlik/Taylor II, Kltischko/Ibragomiv, and Marquez/Pacquiao.  Are you kidding me?  The fun starts tonight when HBO has a great doubleheader, featuring tough fights for two of boxing's young, exciting, and undefeated stars.  Paul Williams and Andre Berto.  The Fight Dr gets us ready.

Last night on HBO, we got the chance to see two of the so called fastest rising and undefeated stars in the sport. While one young gun was putting on a show, the other's goose egg in the loss column had to go. Mixed martial arts has been the fastest growing sport in the world for the last two years now. The Ultimate Fighting Championship has been the most dominant and largest organization in the sport. Zuffa (the parent company of the UFC) purchased a smaller organization, World Extreme Cagefighting, back in December of 2006. Last night from the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas the UFC's heavyweight division was on display. Former WWE superstar Brock Lesnar was the talk of the event. He was hyped up to be the next heavyweight champion and the biggest star the UFC has seen in years.  My cousin Scott says someone forgot to tell Frank Mir all that.  The Spoon Man recaps Mir-Lesnar and the rest of UFC 81 for us in his latest effort.
