Rich SwerbinskyIt's finally here. Kelly Pavlik versus Jermain Taylor. This should be an incredible fight. Two unbeaten American superstars, fighting for one of the biggest prizes in boxing - the middleweight championship. Pavlik, a product of Youngstown, is 31-0 with 28 KO's, and is coming off a complete and total dismantling of the heavily favored Edison Miranda on the undercard of Taylor's last fight. Jermain tried to dodge this fight, and he couldn't. Tomorrow, Kelly gets his shot.

Tonight, at about 11 PM on HBO, Youngstown's Kelly Pavlik will finally meet Jermain Taylor on the boardwalk in Atlantic City for the undisputed middleweight championship of the world. Understandably, my cousin Scott (our resident fight doctor) is all jacked up for this thing tonight, as is every boxing fan in the state of Ohio. Scott SwerbinskyChuck "The Iceman" Liddell, probably the most recognized name in MMA, finally gets back into action tonight following his much publicized loss to Quentin "Rampage" Jackson four months ago. The Iceman looks to get back on track in the main event against Keith "The Dean of Mean" Jardine, also coming off a tough loss. Also, tonight, another one of the dominant fighters from Pride fighting makes his UFC debut. And the Spoon Man is here to tell us about those bouts and the rest of the UFC 76 card, which airs tonight on PPV.

The Iceman, Chuck Liddell, was defeated again last night at UFC 76.  Keith Jardine was a guy that many UFC fans felt was simply a sacrificial lamb, served up on a platter for The Iceman, so he could get his career back on track after his heavily publicized loss to Ramopage Jackson back in June.  Think again.  My cousin reviews the shocking main event, as well as the rest of the UFC 76 card.

Scott SwerbinskyThe name Richard Steele is one that is familiar to just about any fan or follower of boxing through the eighties and nineties.  Steele is a Hall of Fame referee that called many of the biggest fights from that era and over 150 title fights in total over his illustrious career.  Steele recently started a mixed martial arts organization called the IFO that has designs on competing with the UFC in time.  And our Scott Swerbinsky had a chance to catch up with him recently to talk about it, as well as his career calling world class fights.
