Mike FurlanFurls' countdown of the ten greatest Buckeye football players ever rambles on, and linebacker Randy Gradishar comes in at #8. Gradishar earned praise from Woody Hayes as the "best linebacker I ever coached" and earning praise from Woody was no small feat. Gradishar also led the 1973 Buckeye defense, widely regarded as amongst the best defense in the history of Ohio State football and one of the greatest in college football history.

Jesse LamovskyIn keeping with his "quarter-century of fandom" theme, Jesse's selected his all-time team of Buckeyes that have played with the program since 1984. Some of the choices- David Boston, Orlando Pace, Antoine Winfield and Mike Nugent- required no thought at all. Other choices- second running back, second receiver, and guard- took a bit of wrestling to decide. A lot of great players have come through this program in the last twenty-five years, and not all of them- guys like Joe Germaine, Alonzo Spellman, Chris Wells, Steve Tovar, Matt Wilhelm, and Shawn Springs- made the cut. What's left is the best of the best.
