Dan WismarSaturday night, 8 PM, national television.  Buckeyes at Badgers, playing a game that could very well determine the Big Ten champion.  You know the Camp Randall Crazies will be in rare form, and you know Wisconsin will be smarting after their second half meltdown last week at home against the Wolverines.  This should be a fun one.  And Buckeye Dan Wismar gets us all lathered up for it with an excellent preview of tonight's game.

Dan WismarThe Buckeyes got just about everything they wanted out of Saturday's game with Minnesota. Chris Wells started and finished the game healthy...and rushed for 106 yards in between. Terrelle Pryor got his first Big Ten start, and demonstrated a growing grasp of the offense. And even Todd Boeckman got a measure of redemption in the 34-21 OSU win in front of 105,175 fans at The Shoe.  The quest for another Big Ten title is on.  Buckeye Dan previews the win.

That seems to be the general story in the Big Ten thus far as conference play opens this weekend.  The bottom of the conference appears stronger and the top of the conference has no elite teams.  Unlikely doomsday scenarios aside, there probably won't be a Big Ten representative in the BCS title game in Miami - but the conference as a whole is almost unquestionably stronger than last year.  In his latest, Jesse takes a look at the state of all 11 teams in the Big Ten.

Dan WismarAn unbeaten Minnesota team will come calling at the Horseshoe on Saturday, trying to continue their 2008 turnaround under second-year coach Tim Brewster, as the Big Ten schedule kicks off for both teams. The Buckeyes will counter with their two most dynamic offensive players together on the field for the first time since the opener, as freshman quarterback Terrelle Pryor gets the second start of his career, and Chris Wells returns from injury as the starting running back for Ohio State.  Buckeye Dan previews the game for us.

Dan WismarOhio State pulled away from a feisty Troy University team Saturday afternoon, winning the game 28-10, and unleashing the full Terrelle Pryor package in the process. Pryor got his first start as a Buckeye, and threw for an OSU freshman record four TD's. The Buckeyes also got a standout performance from a new starter at linebacker, and the defense pitched a second half shutout to help OSU win going away.  Buckeye Dan recaps the win.
