Dan WismarOhio State's relentless rushing attack and an opportunistic defense were too much for Illinois on Saturday, and the Buckeyes' 30-20 victory in Champaign now has them one win away from clinching a tie for their fourth straight Big Ten title. The Buckeyes' heralded one-two punch of Terrelle Pryor and Chris Wells did their thing with over 100 yards rushing apiece, but it was a lesser known backup linebacker who came up with two of the biggest plays of the game. Dan WismarWhen Ohio State takes the field in Champaign, Illinois Saturday against the Fighting Illini, they will have their BCS Bowl destiny in their own hands. The Buckeyes (8-2, 5-1) can virtually lock up an at-large BCS bid if they win and then beat Michigan next week. Dan WismarOhio State (8-2, 5-1) vaulted back into a tie for first place in the Big Ten standings by drilling Northwestern 45-10 on Saturday, while Penn State lost their spot alone on top with a last-second loss to Iowa. OSU quarterback Terrelle Pryor threw for three touchdowns, repeatedly torching the Wildcats with clutch 3rd-down conversions, and Chris Wells ran for 140 yards and two more scores, including a 55-yard sprint in the second quarter that put the Buckeyes ahead to stay.
