Last night in Las Vegas, we saw just what many boxing observers thought we would see. A one sided fight between Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao. However, the champion getting his hand raised at the end was the guy everyone picked to lose, as Pac Man dominated The Golden Boy for all seven rounds, pummeling him into submission and likely retirement. Every so often in boxing fans are treated to a megafight. The fight tonight taking place at the MGM in Las Vegas is being called just that. Oscar De La Hoya (39-5) will be stepping in with Manny Pacquiao (47-3-2) in a highly anticipated showdown. One of the most anticipated fights in UFC history takes place tonight in Las Vegas. The MGM Grand is where the action will take place and it's going to be huge, as in the largest man to step into the octagon and probably the biggest name in the mixed martial arts world. Randy "The Natural" Couture vs. Brock Lesnar. The fight will be for the UFC heavyweight title and is the first bout in what is a three fight tournament to become the undisputed champ of the division. The UFC and the world of mixed martial arts has a new face and his name is Brock Lesnar. Last night in Las Vegas, a new champion in the heavyweight division was crowned, as Lesnar dominated UFC legend Randy Couture by pounding him into submission with a violent flurry of crushing blows to Couture's head after taking him to the ground.
