It was a great night to be a fight fan last night.  UFC 88 was on pay per view, and HBO's Boxing After Dark had a great lighweight fight between Juan "The Baby Bull" Diaz and Michael Katsidas.  In the main event at UFC 88, Rashad Evans shocked the mma world but knocking out UFC poster boy Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell.  My cousin recaps both events for us this morning in his latest.

Nothing better than Saturdays in the late summer and the fall.  You've still got Sunday to look forward to, you've got college football on all day, and usually some good fights on at night.  And that is definitely the case tonight.  We've got UFC 88, which features MMA legend Chuck Liddell taking on the up and coming and undefeated Rashad Evans.  And over on HBO we have a great lightweight fight when Juan Diaz and Michael Katsidas go toe to toe.  My cuz previews both events.

Josh Koscheck is one of the fastest rising stars in the world of mixed martial arts. He made his mark on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter reality show. With a record of 9-2 in the UFC, the sky is the limit for the former NCAA Division I wrestling standout.  Just last month, Koscheck won a hard fought three round decision over Chris Lytle. He looked dominant yet again and continues to get better every time he steps into the octagon. My cuz recently had the opportunity to talk with the 170 pound standout.

Last night George St. Pierre made his case for best pound for pound fighter in mixed martial arts. The UFC fans at the Target Center in Minnesota were treated to another dominant performance by GSP and also witnessed the next big thing in the heavyweight division.   My cousin recaps last nights card.
