December 27th, 1964. Almost 42 years since the city of Cleveland last captured a professional sports championship. In my latest horrific display of journalistic masochism, I review the ten toughest losses in the last twenty years of Cleveland sports. So grab a bottle of whiskey and a pack of smokes, remove all sharp objects from arms length, cozy up to the monitor, and enjoy.

Soccer Sacked

Papa Cass chronicles what went wrong for the United States in the World Cup, calling for coach Bruce Arena's head in the process. Cassano also hits on how even casual soccer fan's national pride took a hit with the loss to Ghana, and even mentions to poke fun at the French ... an easy way to get on my good side.

As we head into a slow time for sports, expect us to mix in a little more humor as we wait on the Browns and Buckeyes seasons to commence. You've probably seen this floating around via e-mail over the years. As a numb to nagging married guy, this has always been one of my favorites ... and funny enough for a front page run on Da Blurbs.

The Sweet Taste Of Success

Mitch Cyrus is a transplanted Clevelander that now calls the Carolinas his home. He's also married to a hockey fantatic and diehard Hurricanes fan, and they have been living and dying with that team over the course of the last six weeks.
