September is upon us, which means here comes football season.  And a slow month at the box office.  So instead of News & Rumors this week, Mitch takes some time to recap what was an exciting summer of movies here in 2008, headlined by films like "The Dark Knight", "Indiana Jones", "WALL-E", "Iron Man", and "Hancock".  And as always, Mitch previews this week's releases at the theaters and on DVD.

After four weeks at the top of the charts, finally, last week, "Tropic Thunder" knocked "The Dark Knight" out of the top spot.  In any case, that didn't stop the Batman from becoming the second highest grossing film ever, now only behind "Titanic".  Luckily, this weekend, we've got the Olympics and the Browns game on Saturday night, because this week's theater releases are weak.  Mitch hits on all of them, as well as the week's DVD releases and Hollywood news and rumors in this week's Crystal Ball.
