Mitch CyrusBoop, boop, boop, boop. It's "24" time again here on the Blurbs as The Mitch Man checks in with his recap of this week's episode. We saw some classic Jack Bauer excessive torture tactics, on his own kin folk even. And then a couple serious plot twists at the end of the show, one of which Mitch has been predicting for a couple weeks, and another that caught him by surprise. And coming this Monday, another two hour episode. Bully for us. The Bauer Death Count is at four, and rising.

Mitch CyrusGoing back to the whole creation of this website, Mitch Cyrus was a big part of the blueprint from day one. I'm a big movie buff, and there's no one whose opinion I respect on films and the entertainment industry more than Mitch. Add in the fact that he's hysterical, and a great writer, and it was an easy call. That sense of humor is on full display in his review of "Smokin' Aces", which illicits a rating from Mitch that he has never given out before in the dozens of movies he's reviewed for us.

Mitch CyrusThe last couple episodes of "24" have lacked the action and excitement of the four hour opening weekend, as the writers of the show have been setting the season up with plot developments. If you've been watching this show for any length of time, you know this will change soon. And there's a couple of well known actors set to enter the fray as new characters as well.
