Scott SwerbinskyUFC 100 has come and gone and what an event it was. We saw two champions that just might be unbeatable and a true legend of the sport derail the quest of a young up and comer. In my cousin's recap of last night's electric event from the Mandalay Bay, he tells us all about the dominating wins from freaks of nature Brock Lesnar and Georges St. Pierre, and the incredibly violent (and controversial) knockout administered by Dan Henderson.

Scott SwerbinskyBack in November of 1993, the Ultimate Fighting Championship was born. It was labeled as human cockfighting and bar room brawling with just a handful full of "so called" rules. Only certain states would hold these events and they were normally every six months or so. Oh how the times have changed. And tonight, to celebrate their 100th main fight card, they have lined up an amazing array of fights, including a heavyweight title bout between two giants. My cousin previews tonight's event.

Daniel Jacobs, one of Golden Boy Promotions top young fighters, returns to the ring June 26th on ESPN2's Friday Night Fights against veteran middleweight, fellow New Yorker, and former Academy Award Nominee George "Blaze" Walton. Walton, a former New York Golden Gloves champion whose once promising career was featured in the 1999 documentary, On the Ropes, is a fighter on the comeback trail. Jason Green talks about the fight, and also ablout Jacobs next potential opponent.

Scott SwerbinskyLast night was a great evening for mixed martial arts fans. UFC 99 didn't disappoint and left fans wanting more. The Ultimate Fighter Final is only a week away and UFC 100 is less than a month from now. We saw some very entertaining fights that will whet the appetite for what will be coming in the next few weeks, and the bad taste from UFC 98 is officially gone. My cousin takes a look at the highlights of last night's card.
