Mitch CyrusThis week's two hour episode of "24" was maybe both the most action packed and utterly unbelievable episode in the six and a half season history of the show. And man does Mitch have fun with it in this week's recap. Especially the part where Jobu drilled through three feet of White House protecting rock with a 3/4 inch drill bit in less than five minutes. It's the column that has developed a huge national following thanks to Google ... it's Mitch's weekly recap of "24".

But nothing that just blew him away like we saw in 2006 and 2007. Nothing...until he walked into the theater and witnessed "Slumdog Millionaire". Mitch reviews the frontrunner for Best Picture of 2008 in his latest.

Mitch CyrusIn three years of writing "The Crystal Ball" for us on Friday nights, Mitch doesn't ever think he's seen a week like this one, bereft of even a single movie being released at the theaters or on DVD that's worth seeing. Good thing it's Oscars weekend, and there's a whole host of good hoops games and the Kelly Pavlik fight on Saturday night. Be sure to check back in this weekend for Mitch's review of "Slumdog Millionaire" and his Oscars preview on Sunday.
